Well, it sounds like a cheap shot from me at a dead man but I believe he was a paedophile so can't feel any grievence for him. I hope I'm wrong and nothing happened but it doesn't add up for me. His music was amazing though.
History is littered with examples of people paying despite not being guilty and it could have been for any number of reasons. Maybe he didnt want to be humiliated in a courtroom? Lets face it even if you were innocent it would be pretty humiliating to be accused of something like that in court and to be asked questions. I've no idea why he paid the money just as you don't have either but based on the evidence i've read i'd say that the accusation was born out of a desire for money from the boys father. The man who drugged his son to get the original 'confession', the man who's own wife claimed had he had said that accusing jackson would be a way to stop their family from ever worrying about money. Even the kids intimate description of jacksons genitals was proven to be a generic description that had basic similarities (as it would) but lacked quite obvious details that should really have been known if the accusations had been true. Basically the one and only reason that people think he was guilty is because he paid money and at the end of the day nobody knows one way or the other why he did that. The only thing we do know is that it certainly does not prove any kind of guilt.
Well just things like he had all those bedrooms in his house but they slept in the same bed. And Netherland theme park was just to attract kids, I have no evidence to back this up but it's a gut feeling and I may be well wrong and he was just a bit strange and loved kids innocently.
good to know the fat overweight kids who watch videos/play on their wi/360 all day are so loved they look forward to the thursday evg trip to asda though cos thats when the fizzy pop is bought .fantastic eh.
Thats the thing though I think that the things you state in your post are the very reason he was accused but I also think that when thought about they actually strengthen his case for being innocent. Things that we know: 1. He was VERY rich. 2. He had a theme park in his garden. 3. Children slept in his bed. Now looking at those three things how easy would it be to make a false claim and get people to believe you? Very easy I would imagine. But look at the three things in another way and you can see a whole other side of the argument. 1. He had millions and this is the greatest motive in the world for anyone to try to accuse him of something or to sue him. 2. He had a themepark in his garden. Hey i'm no paedo but i would love one in mine. Somewhere to escape to, to just enjoy. Forget having a nice wooden table and a pretty flower bed, if I had millions I'd have something that I could enjoy too. 3. He was pretty open about children sleeping in his bed. If he was doing something untoward with them do you really think he would let it be public knowledge that they were in his bed? I certainly wouldn't, i'd be having the world know theyre in a different bedroom and then making secret visits to see them or something. Also the kids parents were fully aware of him sleeping in his bed. You have to question them as people don't you? A strange man in many ways who perhaps foolishly put himself into a position where he became an easy target but I see no evidence to actually suggest that he was guilty.
I have to be honest I did half expect it during the memorial As it ended and the lights were dimmed a spotlight appeared on the mic and I a part of me would not have been surprised to hear the opening bars of bad beat it followed by a complete black out with the lights coming back on to show jacko himself on stage ready to burst into song. I've got quite the imagination. In all seriousness though it was quite emotional seeing his young daughter attempt to put her feelings into words in front so many people while her dads coffin was just a few feet in front of her. I couldn't do it now nevermind as a child.
