I thought so. which would make onwbrianhowards comment about mcindoe leaving because he didnt like ritchie a bit strange.
I admit it was a bad piece of business on our part (some may say an unavoidable piece of business if we wanted to sign him in the first place) but I doubt we would've given him such a one-sided get-out clause had he not asked for one which gives some indication as to his attitude towards the club...
Well, I heard he had a bust-up with Ritchie and led a bit of a training ground rebellion but I'm not quite sure I believe it. I admit that the implication (apologies to anyone if it wasn't implied) that he left 'cos of Ritchie is a little bit naive considering he's already broke and fled from yet another club...
when he signed for us a big luton fan i know warned me about him as apparantly he has a "big" drinking problem apparantly - maybe that was something to do with it? You have to wonder what a "big" drinking problem is these days tho
Why? Left Yoevil under a cloud? He aparantly fell out with Penny Looks like he fell out with Ritchie And now appears to have thrown out the teddy with McCarthy Nah, it was all Gordons fault - a much more logical conclusion.
Not A Fan Of His But.......... good for him moving clubs again. It would have been easy for him to stay at the bigger club and pick up wages for sitting on the bench or in the reserve. He obviously realises at this time in his career he needs regular first team football and is more likely to get it at Bristol City.
Maybe he just wanted to go home, isn't he from yeovil. You never know things may not be right at wolves and a chance to move back down there could have just been too good to turn down.
Id have him back with out thinking, best left winger we have had for years.

hehe I like it. He left because he fell out with ritchie, thats why he left bfc AFTER ritchie got sacked. I heard that McPhail left because he'd had an argument with Danny Wilson in mcdonalds.
could be, last time i heard him on an interview he sounded well and truly scottish....i know it's irrelivant but just making the point he nots scottish in the same way that clinton morrison is irish, ha ha
hehe he left because when we signed him he insisted on a clause in his contract which meant he could piss off for 250k. Its very likely he did have a barney with richtea and given his history it would be shocking had he not. He probably would not have come had he not had the clause. He scored5??! goals for us and we made abart 100k on the deal. McPhail went because PR offered him more than he was possibly worth.
RE: Why? Exactly - Michael McIndoe left 'cos of Michael McIndoe not because of Andy Ritchie. I'm prepared to accept they had a bit of a bust-up but, as Andy Ritchie is a manager widely acknowledged to be respected by his players and Michael McIndoe has a reputation for chucking his teddies out of the cot I think, if only for the sake of semantics, it's safe the say McIndoe didn't leave 'cos of Ritchie - he left 'cos he's a prima-donna... By the way, where exactly have I said it's all Gordon's fault? No disrespect intended, mate but I think you're jumping at shadows a bit there...
From what I heard
From the dressing room he didn't have too many mates and was something of a big head. Would still have loved to have seen him back mind.

RE: From what I heard Again, I'd heard he was a bit of a misfit at Donny. Good player but I wouldn't want him back, not after last time...
Not aimed at you I've caught the fish I was after. Buty I dont buy that well respected business. One of the boys.
