Well we could apply a bit of Michelle’s own justice.

Interesting twist on the story yesterday, now that Mone has started throwing muck at Sunak and the government as an apparent defence of her actions.

It prompted Lord Bethell to find one of his messages from her, dated October 2020, which he's posted as a defence of Sunak.

Unfortunately for him, it's caused a few people to point out that he'd previously claimed to have lost his phone as a reason for not providing it to the Covid inquiry, yet is now able to miraculously produce a message from it for an unrelated matter.

I was speaking recently, to a bloke who informed the largest or most used ppe clothing company ...was in Hull but strangely overlooked and the contract given to Mone, with zero experience etc etc.
Btw I have done no research just saying what an informed old guy told me.

Wasn't expecting Mone herself to leap on this point, to be fair, which demonstrates a fair amount of brass neck, IMO.

Wonder if they'd be interested in a buy out at BFC?
She might be good at being CEO.

That would be Arco. An established British PPE supplier that was overlooked by the government for new companies set up by their mates a week before they were given order for £100m+. Although I was today years old when I found out the company name was shortened from the "Asbestos and Rubber COmpany"...

If they all knew, they were all complicit. Everyone should resign and sue the effin lot.

Only thing I can think of is it is likely the company in Hull couldn’t get the supplies as they had been used, so went to someone with further afield contacts.
Not saying it did or justified it but I do know for a fact that the largest supplier/importer of Nitrile gloves had all their stock taken by the government and took them nearly 2 years to recover back to normal.

Arco don't make the PPE - they import it from the same factories that the other companies imported it from. So we ignored a company with a solid relationship with the suppliers and a record of delivery of useable items for a number of brand new companies that were spun up by the friends of ministers the week before and paid top dollar for unusable goods so somebody could make massive profits on it...

It's simple really; either they didn't do their due-diligence or they did and didn't care about what they knew. either way, its damning.

I know they don’t make it. They also don’t import it direct from the manufacturer they are just a reseller who buys through supply chains.
If it was Arco in question there is no way they could have had a robust supply chain.

As I said at the time the small(ish) company I work for was able to source and receive hundreds of thousands of pairs of sterile gloves and thousands of masks etc. there was no need to start using corrupt tory fake businesses in it because existing companies had access to ppe. I even remember posting on here that I could order it online myself in it's thousands if I wanted to.

The great PPE shortage was fake. It was manufactured propaganda designed to make corrupt people a lot of money and it worked.

You do realise that she's a Tory though, which might explain it.

Complicit! It's there raison d'etre. Enter politics so they can make themselves and their chums richer.

You might want to let Supermax one of the largest manufacturers in the world know it was fake then. I’m sure they will appreciate the millions in sales they have lost during and since covid was a result of them faking it.
