    Donks, we approached Jose. We interviewed the other applicants to lend credibility to the selection process. And I don't mean by that that it wasn't credible - they just satisfied themselves that (in their opinion) there wasn't a better option out there.

    I'd love to see Mick down here - it would feel like there was still some connection. But I suspect Gauthier's credibility is heavily invested in Jose, so I think he is here for the length of his contract at least.

    Was it ever reported how we stumbled across Jose and his entourage? All I heard was how Jose was “looking for the right project to get involved in”. Sounds like the work of agents to me.

    OMG - this is fantasy. It is not going to happen. In a million years. Mick McCarthy is not our Messiah. "Jose fails to keep us up" - like he is a miracle worker?
