Thought I'd started reading a Ron Manager Fast Show sketch.

    Jumpers for goalposts? 442, 424, 352, 541, isn't it, wasn't it? Marvellous.

I haven't the foggiest what we'll end up with. But looking forward to it.

The professionals will solve it Rad Rain and who knows we may find another star midfielder.

I think a shift to 3-5-2 would be sensible but whatever Hecky decides should be good enough for all of us whether we win or lose.

    How do you know that?

Over the years when we have been lacking in certain areas we've seen Stones, Bree, Rose, Digby and Holgate thrown in at the deep end. There was uncertainty about all of them but all were more than good enough. Even Brad Abbott and George Smith who were of non league standard were able to do a job at times.

We have a development squad for a reason and for me it's time to give someone their chance.

I do not know it, which is why I keep saying that I look forward to seeing how the professionals solve the problem. My post is an opinion, and just because I do not begin every sentence in a post with the phrase "in my opinion" does not mean that it is any less of an opinion.

Which of the U23 players do you think is good enough to start in centre midfield against a decent Championship team on Saturday?

At the ST meeting last night the players confirmed that a few 'unamed' u23 lads had been training with the first team so we may see a debutant?!? Watch this space as they say.

Jared Bird? He's made the bench a couple of times over the last fortnight...

He was definitely one of the slowest wing-backs I've ever seen, but he was bloody good.

I remember the last time we played someone called Williams in central midfield. Shudder.
