    I think he's quality too

went down to watch us play Cov at the Ricoh season before last, and he destroyed us,but unless we give him the passes where he can use his pace he's wasted,IMO its no good knocking the ball in the air,up to him with his back to the goal,he needs the through ball,Brian Howard would have set him up regularly I think.

If he can grow a couple of feet

He would be excelent. Otherwise he's only good for short low passes and that means he is very predictable. I think he has poetential (blagger)

he needs a "big man" to play off, ie Adebola. Personally I think Odejayi and Mifsud

    might work on Tuesday night.

Depends what he is expecting as wages. If he is asking to be top earner then we can't sign him. We could get a better striker with those sort of wages. His control of the ball is terrible most of the time. Jury definitely still out. But he is our best at the moment. At times he shows touches of quality.

    trouble is...

Davey doesn't know how to make a big man/little man combo work, because he hasn't got the faintest idea of how to get strikers to play off each other at all. Our strikers, no matter what the combo, have played like strangers all season. You'd probably end up seeing Odejayi running the line and trying to cross to Mifsud on his own in the box competing in the air for it against Morgan... (doh)

I dont think he's been given long enough yet. It cant be a coincidence that every striker we have had look **** with Davey. He could make the likes of Torres look crap. If anybody should go it should be Davey. I still think that given the right service and formation Mifsud could be the 20 goal a season striker that we need but there is no way I'd pay him the wages that he wants.
