Might be on my own here but really don't get the McCourt adoration

Snuffed out but still created two bits of genius. Which can win games.

I feel Barnsley would have a better chance of winning a football match with the highly skilled, gifted and unpredicictable Paddy McCourt, than work horse Jim O`Brien.

? Is it not the "1 or 2' runs which win games. Both great deliveries that should have been finished off. COG never looked like getting on the end of anything in the box today.

Yes I've watched Barnsley for a lot of years as well. What it means is we generally wouldn't recognise a player of McCourt's quality if he scored a hat trick in a world cup final. We're just not used to seeing good players at Oakwell, so Yes - I forgive you for still failing to recognise one now!!

Sambora - as you can see/read......you're in a minority? Paddy, without a doubt, creates & excites REDS fans.

If you can't see the positivity that he brings to us, maybe you're watching the wrong team/sport?

I respect your opinion mate but I can't agree.
Paddy was head and shoulders above anyone else in a red shirt in the time he was on the pitch. Unlucky not to have another goal to his name.
Needs more help from the players around him. He maybe is only 70% - 80% fit but still man of the match.

Ridiculous. The one bright spark in a dark season.

He needs feeding, just give him the ball more often and ease off with all the long balls up to O'Grady trying to bully their right back
