Remember Woods when he first came on loan . He was exactly the same . Time and gelling will hopefully bring him on to be a good player for us .

Great stuff, just get the Watford commentators to read out the final score again :)

A few silly posts criticising Miller, it serves no purpose. His coach thinks he's the man to bring on. Those detractors of Miller who state he's not good enough perhaps should be directing their criticism at the coach.

Nothing like as bad as portrayed in some posts on here. He was far more effective than Schmidt. The chances he had, could have been missed by a host of strikers. I'd start him before Schmidt, I'd start Simoes before both of them. Schmidt has glimpses but largely disappoints other than in cameos off the bench. It really depends what you want the striker to do - apart from score goals, that is.

He worked hard, he grafted, he tried his best. I've nothing against him.

    But he isn't good enough.

Not a knock on him or the coaching staff, just that due to poor recruitment, if one of our forwards go down with injury then he's called into action.

Both Miller and Schmidt look a million miles off being good enough at championship level and it’s clear we need at least one striker bringing in .Saying all that it was a terrific battling team performance but that bit of extra composure and class up at the top end of the pitch would make us a decent side .

See the post below. Nobody is just randomly saying he's $hite, we know we have no other options but it's blatantly obvious were lacking in that department.

Just your random abuse of WILSON in capitals that was bizarre.

In contrast to you who think that Miller ain’t up to it, l felt l saw enough to be quietly confident that he would be a good link up player for Woodrow. Of course 25 minutes game time can’t give a fair assessment but what we’ve seen of Chaplin, Schmidt or Thomas, then he deserves a fair crack.

Miller still did more in his cameo than Schmidt has done so far this season. I’ve never seen a player so scared of physical contact. The lads pathetic, he needs to man up or **** off. He can’t live off a few goals he created or scored last season. I’ve seen enough of him now to know he’s not cut out for this league.
