    remember a handful of West Ham jumping into the side of the ponty

    sending a load of reds fans scarpering, for a few seconds.................., think it was a league cup game

    Can remamber that as well. Big hammers fan fists a flying. Think we lost 2-0. Brooking crossed for the second and went into the boards in front of us. Some old bloke that looked like Bob Paisley took a good swing at him and missed. Hed have been banned had it been done today.

    they were real nutters

    on a hiding to nothing, i remember the first time we played Millwall, early 80's, that was some day, and when the geordies came to town :eek:

    Those darned chirpy Cockneys!......

    There were only about 25 West Ham involved in that spat wasn't there? Does anyone remember a few Grimsby going in the Ponty early doors with pieces of wood in their hands etc (about 1977)?

    Good age six. That when i first took my son. Hes well into it now and as hes 12 next he will soon be to embarrassed to go along with me.

    Would be impossible to enforce and there's nowt to stop anyone reading anyway. I know for instance that Mr X is actually only 9 years old but there's not really a lot we can do about it.

    remember us in the hudds end

    promotion season 78, night match, we were being followed from the pub, we turned to the ground thinking this is it, looked up and we were in their end, big sign saying Town terriers only, never been so relieved :D

    It was a tad cold :D
    The day the Geordies came to taown in 1981 was a mad one for sure. That evening in the town centre i think there were at least 3 boozers that remained closed due to the damage they suffered.
