Re: actually I am with BUPA Without the fantastic surgeons, doctors & nurses and their help, care, commitment, kindness and dedication, we would have buried our daughter many years ago. They have our eternal gratitude, admiration, thanks and respect for giving Laura the opportunity to live her life. We can never repay them for their devotion to her care and well being. The NHS is one of the greatest organisations this country has ever created, in my opinion.
Re: actually I am with BUPA And the NHS ****** up the last operation I had, misdiagnosed my Grandad's illness and left my Grandma without food and water. The big city university hospitals are generally good, the smaller ones, well you have to cross your fingers really.
You never answered my questions last night When cornered you run away Your views on the nhs ? I dont believe you You are a bit of an attention seeker tbh.
Re: actually I am with BUPA I'm sorry that your experience of the NHS has been so poor & inexcusable. I can only speak of my own experiences of the NHS, which has been superb.
You've never heard of Mid-Staffs? You think that's the only place that happened? Old people who don't have any relatives to bring food in or nag the nurses often don't get fed or changed or given water. Nurses in geriatric wards tend to be the worst ones because nurses don't want to work on those wards, they want most of all to work on the children's ward, if they can't get that then anywhere but the geri ward, I've worked in the NHS.
Re: actually I am with BUPA I had an op in the 70s and everything was great, since then I think it's gone downhill.
Re: actually I am with BUPA As I said, I can only speak of my own experiences. The care my daughter received & still receives, the care my late parents received, the care me, my family and friends have received has been superb and of the highest order.
My experience is hardly unusual, it was revealed last year that you are 24% more likely to die after an operation on a Friday than earlier in the week, because of the lack of doctors on duty on weekends, things like that are not acceptable in a first-world country IMO.
Re: actually I am with BUPA Not that it's any of your business, but if you must know it's been Barnsley DGH, Sheffield's Children's Hospital, Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre, Hallamshire & the Northern General.
BUPA should be banned. As should all private medicine. Lazy fecking doctors and consultants knocking off early to treat private patients make my piss boil
Re: actually I am with BUPA Sorry I don't believe a word you say on any subject. I think you would even lie about anything like this. My daughter was born with an illness her care has been beyond exemplary. My dad had a triple heart by pass again exemplary It's just another example of how you hate your country lying about something that most of us are proud of. Sad really.
