    I have, several times. It's a soul-less place with no sense of history or itself. It's football club reflects the it's identity entirely. I can only speak as I find.

    Great memories of that day, we had a goal ruled out before scoring I think. Strangest ground I'd been to at that point but I remember our fans being brilliant.

    It was in the Hockey stadium and very hot - and I think we played OK - which considering Hart was our manager was a rarity

    No mate, just personally visiting places like Middlesborough, Rotherham, Darlington etc. All beyond **** holes.

    It's about time folk showed a bit of pride in their town rather than slamming it every time they can. Maybe you spending a few quid in there might be a start?

    Agree with you there dyson once went to Stockton with rising sun before Hartlepool game what a depressing place it was too as you say middlesborough was nearly as bad.
    Barnsley is not a quarter as bad as some of these places some just moan for the sake of it but lose all credibility on this one.

    Spend mine n meadow hall or online. Barnsley lacks the choices for the things I want to purchase.

    Sheffield city centre though remains fairly busy.

    Wakefield have just built up a new shopping part of the city and advertising the smoke out of it.

    Donny has the frenchgate....

    Barnsley has..... Planning permission for a halo.
