Jobs a good un. Possibly the best I've ever had. That's the slightly worrying part.
I'm just getting use to the flexibility of the job. It's a bit strange after spending years tied down by time tables. I have to sign in and out the training centre but that's so they know who's on site in case of fire. I only have to be in centre on Wednesdays when I have a teaching commitment. I look after 36 apprentices in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield so I'm on the road a fair bit.
I'm fine apart from a sore throat from Anfield.

Watching Tele. I think Coronation Street was on, or had just finished. Watching it. Stayed up just to see it. My daughter shouted it up to me in the morning. At work. A colleague came round and said a plane had hit the WTC. I thought it was an accident like the Empire State in 1948. At Anfield!
only remember the last 3 di - in scarborough for a day out 11/9 - internet bar in crete looking up the reds match report, vulcan gets a beer and sat down to watch the tv - pictures only, no sound and for a moment thought it was a film howie scoring - row 31 thinking we might hold on for a draw..... get them back to oakwell.......should've had a pen........that looks like it's in the back of the net........we've only gone and scored........pandemonium
Only remember the last 3 as well... Where were you when we heard the tragic news about Di? Lying on my bed and listening to Blur's "Parklife". I don't know why I still remember it so well, as I didn't find the news so shocking, and certainly didn't expect that it would still be in the headlines 10 years later. Where were you when the first plane hit the tower? I was probably still on my way back home from work when the first plane hit the tower... I turned on the tv as soon as I got home to read the news like I always did, and the special news report about the incident started about 2 minutes later. Just moments later the second plane hit the tower... Where were you when Brian Howard scored? I was jumping and shouting and swearing at the useless referee in front of my PC, I almost missed the goal because I was so mad and just couldn't believe it when the ball went in.
