In my humble view, there is no disputing the fact that George Moncur is a very good player who has the ability to have an influence on the game whilst he's on the field. Like all members of the squad he will have undergone all the tests that the coaching team put the players through, so they will be under no illusions as to his stamina levels and the length of time he's capable of playing "flat out". Like Thiam and Cavare he's quite stocky and for the amount of work he's asked to do, his metabolism might be such that he's more effective to play over a set period before being subbed. On Saturday, the lad had a very good first half which won him the Man of the Match award. Their defenders crowded him out more in the second half and our Coach quite rightly thought it right to substitute him. Been impressed with Stendels use of Subs, Thiam being a good example against Luton. Also impressed with Brad Potts ( "Joe 90" ) who seems to play better every time I've seen him.
