There's been a dress code for years. Relaxed to allow jeans at one point but never trainers. (well I haven't been in for 5 years but that was case when I had a seat in the legends)
I took it too literally and actually got thrown own for wearing a dress. I thought floral prints suited me.
Looks as though his wife has now deleted her Twitter account... https://mobile.twitter.com/chelseaosbornex?lang=en
THIS IS NOT AN EXACT QUOTE. It was something like "The dress code should be in line with the quality of club" or something equally demeaning
She’s obviously been to the John Moncur school of entitlement. I’m sure she’ll be happy when she has to wear dress shoes at the Emirates or Etihad when George gets the move his talent and attitude warrants? I actually feel for George Moncur to be fair as it is clear that everyone around him has decided he’s at a ***** club he’s too good for - the only problem being that he’s not. I think he could be a decent player for us this season but with a support network of his dad and Mrs you can’t see him ever being happy here.
Thought Moncur looked his typical self tonight. He glides across the field with the ball at his feet like a God. He's got style and grace, he looks magnificent. But (not particularly tonight as he didn't have all that long to prove himself) all too often he takes the ball up blind alleys that he can't get out of and fails to find the killer pass or cross or shot. And his fitness and work rate have always been a concern. Anyone at the match tonight who hasn't seen him play before would think we've got a hell of a player on the books. A lot of those who have seen him play know that he flatters to deceive and what he does very rarely leads to anything. Having said all of the above, I did think he looked leaner tonight. Don't know if he's worked on his fitness through the close season or if black suits him.
From the bits I've seen of Moncur he can be a big player for us this season but I don't think he's got what it takes for the Championship. As has been said, he has to knuckle down this year or his career is dead in the water.
Strikes me that he would look good in these types of games. Where tackles aren't full blooded and the game is played one step slower, as that is How he always plays.
She’s got form for that type of attitude and always speaks her mind by looks, i think she slagged Peterborough as a town, the club and the fans off when he was on loan down there. So it’s hardly surprising that she’s said it.
Not in the slightest. Daft comment. As someone else has already mentioned, his bird tweeted that whist he was on the pitch playing. Hardly his fault is it?
