And if you were in the same Masonic Lodge as the judge, you were just a nod and a wink from a dismissal of your case.

I looked for something else that I had read previously, but only came up with this.

It makes good points though. https://greatergood.berkeley.edu/ar...end to stereotype, lazy, selfish, and uncaring.

Shocking if true last I heard a 21 year old had been charged with murder.

NEWS: Two further arrests made in connection with Barnsley murder

Detectives have now made two further arrests in connection with Barnsley murder last Sunday (1 September), bringing the total number of arrests to seven.

A 50-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of affray, with a 36-year-old woman also arrested on suspicion of affray as well as perverting the course of justice. They both remain in police custody at this time.

A 19-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon and assault, with a 41-year-old man arrested on suspicion of affray and assault. They have all been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

On Sunday, we were called at 4.23pm to reports of an altercation between a group of men on Burton Road. Alan Sutton, who was 41 years old, was found with suspected stab wounds and sadly died at the scene.

Callum Strachan, 21, of Burton Road, Barnsley, has been charged with murder. He appeared at Barnsley Magistrates' Court today (Thursday 5 September) where he has been remanded until his next appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday (9 September).

We continue to appeal for witnesses and information following Alan’s death and ask that anyone who believes they can help to get in touch: https://orlo.uk/8W5Yb

I was playing a computer game in the 80s that allowed you to mug grannies, beat up police and do other unsavoury/fun activities (I wish I could remember the name of game, but it was originally banned then released after it was changed - we had the original). Playing as an anti-hero was as popular as playing as a traditional hero.

We also had the "Satanic Panic" when Christians decided that heavy metal had subliminal messages played backwards.

    It was all bobbins.

I don’t have too much to add on the Monk Bretton incident but me & my mates used to set people on fire & sleep with prostitutes on GTA, blow each other up on Worms, watch 18 rated horror & gangster films when we were about 10 & as far as I’m aware none of us are mentally scarred from any of it.

For me the biggest influence for any kid is their parents & immediate family. If they’re brought up properly even with little money they’ll be fine.

I know there’s examples of children who have had really good upbringings who’ve gone on to do evil things but I think they’re few & far between.
