Moore out for the rest of the season

As suspected, the club have told us nothing more than he’s out due to the injury sustained.

I’m not convinced they should tell us more, don’t get me wrong, but it does nothing to quell the rumour merchants and clarifies nothing.

 

How can it be weak leadership when the manager said he was happy with his squad.It doesn't matter what me or you might think at the end of the day its down to the manager.

 

I must admit, I think that's a possiblity too......

 

May be worth a try on the bench, one to bring on if we can put a match out of side and nothing to lose. Just to see if he can offer anything at this level if nothing else.

 

Good luck to the lad, I hope he makes a full recovery. As for chances of going up, they’ve been dealt a blow but I still think we’ve enough. If our rivals are relying on our injuries then it’s not looking great for them.

Really oh bugger me forgot that no player has ever been tried in other positions ever and ever .
Oh well I bow to your obvious abundant knowledge of the game and we’ll just have to forego anyone trying different positions and get on with it .

 

I just hope the lad is OK long term. The lack of transparency and specifics still worries me.

Steve Foster scored more goals than some of the midfielders we had at the time . He could mix it with the best .
If there are games where we need a big lad to mix it and make a nuisance of himself I’d certainly keep Jackson or one of the centre backs with him as a replacement a go .

It doesn't matter what the fans THINK we need its what the manager thinks at the end of the day.Jose wasn't my mate as you call it but he got my backing because he was the manager of my club.If you think board members should buy players over the managers head you can't have much faith in Stendel.

Gutted for the lad for his season to end this way and the most important thing is that he makes a full recovery and can return next season again.

You are a very good team and I have no doubt that you will adapt to this and make it work.

Since losing Maja our strikers have hardly scored a goal between them but luckily we have players in other positions who are chipping in.

Something like this could happen to anyone at any time but that's football, we lost Chris Maguire last week for a couple of months to a broken leg so have experienced similar ourselves.

I think it would take a **** up of biblical proportion by Luton for us and Sunderland to both go up automatic.

 

It's a big blow losing Kieffer but hope a lad makes a complete recovery both physically and psychologically after this injury . The rest of the team will do their best I am sure to get promotion for us all.

 

Just hope we haven't got another Iain Hume situation. He wasn't the same player after his head injury.

 

The most important thing is the big man makes a full and speedy recovery. The board have messed up badly not bringing in a striker last month that can back up our top two. We could all see we needed one so we sign someone we can't play. I would play Brown up top. Of course we can still get automatic promotion without him but it's more difficult due to another poor January transfer window. It's worrying the board are still so secretive about his condition. Going from protocol to might not be fit for Portsmouth to a few more weeks and now this.
