If you suspect criminal activity report it.

He has no come back if you act in good faith.

Don't be put off by legal threats. Thats just bully boy tactics.

If hes done nothing wrong then he has nothing to fear does he?

    Get him reported.

Reason one is, you don't know what kind of enemy he could turn out to be?....

2nd reason being is, you never know the guy could maybe in the future do you a good turn in return....

3rd reason is? is it all worth the **** it would cause for the sake of 500quid?....

And most important of all is, do you want to be known as being a grass?....

Personally i'd walk away with my dignity intact....

    morally you should report him

and look at it like this, you have just been made redundant because the company has fell on hard times. This contracts manager is part of that reason, the money he has stolen could have paid for your wages. He has cost you your job mate

    Where's the dilemma?

Morally you have to report him. It would be immoral of you not to.

Shop the guy in. It might not save you your job, but it will make you look of good character and it would be the right thing to do.

let the company know and they can decide. As soon as he started to threaten you, you knew what to do. Don't let him bully you.
