    Hope is defending has improved if we are going to sign him. If i remember correctly we ripped him apart when he played at Oakwell for Southampton and they subbed him at half time....

    We can't afford him.........................how do people know this !!! ???

    Have some people on here got balance sheets for Barnsley Football Club
    Because I haven't seen one and I haven't even heard of one being mentioned.

    If they haven't got a balance sheet how the ffffing hell can people on here say........"we can't afford him"

    There's only one person in the whole world that knows who we can or cannot afford and his name is Pat Cryne

    So FFS, give it a rest, dont say stupid things like 'we can't afford him' because yer make yer sen look a reight tw@t

    we paid 400k for mossto plus wages that ammoumts to near on 6ook if we pay philips say 1.5 k a week no fee paid for him thats around thats around 1.5 million in wages if that keeps us in the championship that as to be a good bit of buiseness as i see it im sure he would get a few goals that we missed last year

    well said nudger i speak to patrick and his mrs often and i despair to read some of the crap wrote on here ,last time i spoke to jean about new chaiman she said sometimes i dont know why we bother for all the stick the board get its a thankless task.
