That's a great song Bowie's first four albums are all fantastic, never liked his 80s stuff that much, and the new albums are alright but nowhere as good as the classics. Perhaps I'll give Antony & Johnsons another go after all...
RE: John Lee Hooker, Blues at its best cool track...... Mad man blues......... now that is really cool
Space Oddity album is a masterpiece This is my favourite Anthony and the Johnsons song http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=40Ds8rhNF7M

I went to see them in Isle of Man in 79 absolutely fantastic, one of my fave gigs ever. Did you know that they wrote Milk and Alcohol after seeing John Lee Hooker in concert?
RE: I went to see them in Isle of Man in 79 yep..............any feelgood fan would know that........... 'main attraction dead on his feet black man rhythm with with a white boy beat they got him on milk and alcohol..... ( H )

RE: Space Oddity album is a masterpiece That A&J song is pretty good, I'm already getting used to his voice. I've heard their album "I Am A Bird Now", and it's not bad at all, but all those songs sound a bit similar to me... quite "slow-tempoed" and very melancholic.
A low point in the CUD discography imho Should have released Hey Boots, Not Exactly DLERC or EAU Water as the second single from the Leggy Mambo album rather than that turgid track.
