    My point is (and honestly it’s not personal)

    There are thousands of positive male role models in popular culture. The biggest movie franchises are 90% white male heroes.

    And as soon as there’s a black or female (or god forbid a black female) lead, there’s an outcry from the right about a ‘woke agenda’.

    He will absolutely understand that situation as well as you or I, but he’s choosing to put on record that he’s happy to play that culture war card, because it will gain him favour within his party and popularity in certain sections of the press.

    In this instance then surely it’s even worse. If he’s putting an act on and he isn’t actually a t@@t of the highest order that’s shameful. I don’t know him and you obviously do but if it looks like a pig, and sounds like a pig then it’s usually a pig.

    I don't get why people say Doctor Who should be a man. The character is an alien who literally regenerates into different bodies.
