    Give the prices of property down south I dare say there will be some people on the first rung of the ladders in a massive pickle if their fixed term is expiring within the next 12 months. Some mortgages taken out will be completely unsustainable at 6%

    Lenders have started pulling their rates due to the currency/inflation crisis. I can’t even apply for a mortgage at the moment, and when they eventually reappear most will be 5%+.
