Motson , is he the worst TV commentator?

    Sorry but............

    Although Jeff Steiing is awesome he is, after all, only a host and compere for the shows on a Saturday afternoon and fronts some of the LIVE games. He is NOT a commentator. And that is what the initital thread question was about.</p>

    I agree Jeff Stelling is God as far as running Soccer Saturday is concerned but when you ask about commentating.........which games has he commentated on?</p>

    Motson is by far the worst, he as an annoying habit of laughing at his own description of a game. Another who is nearly as bad is the great John Elm. Both of them want spread -eagleing, a leg of lamb tying to their ballacks and and half a dozen crazed Pit-Bull Terriers unleashing hell. (wnkr)

    I can honestly say if its Motson I turn the sound off.........watching a match .........

    With no sound spoils the game eg. you cant hear the crowd
    But I would rather do that than listen to Motty
    When we used to get a match on BBC as well as ITV at the same time (can yer remember those days) I used to turn it over to ITV when Motty came on
    Motty by name and Motty by nature (as in, women pee out of)

    I agree Motson is a ****** of the highest order but if you put the radio commentary on you have to listen to Alan Green who is such a sanctimonious, self-opinionated, self righteous, arrogant git.  I'm really not that fond of him.
