No, never in a million years. Not after he defended Man Utd fans, when they wrecked our kiosks. The fücking prîck.

I would give my season ticket back if we appointed him.

They finished 22nd. Which is easily 2 places higher than any would have bet on! Missed out on staying up by a whisker! Also it was ppg that got them to the playoffs, which of course they won, unlike us. All on a budget that made us look like the rich relations!

Ive said this before and will say it agsin in January and next June.

If you dont want to stay with my fantastic football club and brilliant town then please go. I want future reds legends not people using us as a steppnig stone.

We will be prepared and will bring in suitable if not better replacements.

Stay and show committment to our club or pxss off.

Mowatt has put in what id class as the minimum stint to be able to go with our blessing but less than a season go shxte.

In the sense that I don't want an ársehole, who thinks it's acceptable to attack our employees, yes.

I'd have given my season ticket up if we'd ever employed Kevin Blackwell, Chris Morgan, or Ched Evans, too.

A manager is only as good as the players at the club.

I would have thought, post-Brexit, that foreign appointments will be harder to get over the line. We might be fishing in a much smaller pool this time around.

But Neville, who was sent off during the game, believes that the incident was blown out of proportion.

"The supposed crowd trouble at Barnsley was something out of nothing," he told The Sun.

"United fans got boisterous. They do. But anything that happens with us gets blown out of proportion."

It's the Millwall defence. Just fans, being violent, and it's okay.

We’ve been mentioning exploring USA, Canada and South America for players in recent months. I wonder if this will be where our next manager is currently located? Quick, someone search “high pressing MLS managers not Struber”.

I assume you feel that same loyalty to every employer you have worked for, and would never move to double, triple or quadruple your wages.

I can think of some reasons why VI should be thinking twice about this. A Oakwell, he was taking over a young and hungry squad, who had a strong bond of togetherness, having successfully negotiated the relegation reefs the season before. At WBA, it will be a disintegrating squad who have experienced a poor season and relegation. Several are not young and hungry and may not react well to VI's style of man management. There are a few 'old lags' and some prima- donnas, so it won't be as straight-forward as here. He also needs to work why excellent candidates turned the job down - it doesn't seem from reports that it was WBA who turned them down, but the other way round. Why? Ownership issues? Inherited debt? Issues of who chooses new signings? I don't know the answers to these questions, but, if VI doesn't, he needs to find out pdq.

I think that a further successful season with us would do more for the credibility of his CV than his amazing three-quarters of a season, followed by what might be a disaster at WBA. A further season's success with us and that would be an impressive CV, which would not get forgotten, even if there were some lean times to follow.

Life would be very uncomfortable without arseholes, they’re an unpleasant but necessary part of life . It’s not nice when they’re in charge though.

Loads of valid points mate but money talks.

Also, would he be able to recreate the same magic for us next season without Dike and Mowatt, with crowds etc. Perhaps he thinks not and I doubt a team with WBA resources will be after him next season if we are sitting in 14th (which will still be a decent achievement)

as Val said…..success makes you sexy…..I guess he has to strike whilst the iron is hot and secure his and his young family’s futures. I don’t begrudge him that, it’s a logical move from an objective perspective, albeit highly disappointing for people like us who are emotionally invested
