    That said, Colgan still had a hell of a season.

    ok Jay I know I am hyper critical, but we are making out like we are loosing the worlds number one here, when in fact he is just another fairly average keeper.If we cannot replace him with similar or a better standard then I would worry.

    For the first time in years, last season saw us have a water tight defence. Colgan was very much part of that. He played a massive part in our promotion.

    We've had some utter dross between the sticks since we lost Watson to injury. Good 'keepers are not ten a penny. Colgan would be a big loss.

    Indeed. He is capable of outstanding and mediocre performances. What else would you expect from a League One player?
