RE: go back a couple of posts....

You've missed the point of what I've just said. I shouldn't have received a personal response in this situation if its signed on behalf of the Football Club.

I'm not the one who keeps resurrecting the issue - I'm just responding to others posts where I feel the need to.

I tried writing to the Club once before. Based on the experience I see little point in doing so again.

How can any letter of complaint, written to the Chairman of any Organisation, be classed as a personal letter, unless you know the said Chairman personally? Do you?

The tendancy of people like you to see heavy criticism as abuse

    really pisses me off.

Sherriff was not in any way abusive. I doubt many of the people who write to you are actually abusive, but instead very critical.

The failure of people in customer facing jobs to stand up to their failings and confuse criticism with abuse is a real failing of the British and why the service we get is so appalling.

Statements like " I am disgusted with your decision" and "we see another piece of appalling mismanagement" of course may be taken personal, they are meant as personal criticism, but they are not abuse!

FFS it's not as if Sheriff called Shepherd a w@nker or owt?

Jeeez. when did folk from t' tarn get so bloody touchy.

Keep the passion Sherriff. I'm with you.
