RE: McCannt's 2 free-kicks at Southampton,

It was a puzzler when they took him off.

We were fortunate not to be further behind as they looked like they had a few decent opportunities in the 1st half whereas we had none.

Odejayi is on the way to becoming a more expensive version of Dave Regis, he has hardly any ball control at all, which makes me wonder why we keep trying to play it into his feet. His day was summed when he finally managed to get a ball to run onto and his first touch took it out fora goal kick.

RE: Odejayi won quite a lot & was probably our best outfield player.

Don't think I've ever seen Clarke Carlisle get beaten on so many occasions both on the ground & in the air.
Caldwell was **** scared of him.

The problem was - he was up there on his own.
Mostto & the entire midfield 4 were nowhere to be seen.

Heinz - quality
Werling, Nyatanga, Souza & Foster - poor
JCR, McCann, Howard & Dev - very poor
Odejayi - not quite as poor as the defence
Mostto - poor

Cack on a stick.

RE: McCannt's 2 free-kicks at Southampton,

Odejayi has more potential than all our other strikers added together.
He shouldn't be playing this many games - he should be handled carefully at this level until he's learnt enough to survive.
At the moment he's having to play every game due to injuries & poor performances from the other strikers.
He's shown a million times more than Mostto has so far.

We still need a ball winning centre half.
However we went in only 1-0 down after Gray & Akinbadbuy creamed us so easily I'll never know.

Its the fact that they are trying to rationalise your pick that makes them mental

I am just suprised you gave it to somebody who played. Were you not tempted to give it to Paul reid or his missus

I thought Mossto and Odejayi were playing in different matches.

And I was watching a clever splicing together of them apparently playing together. Like on the telly. Or maybe it was a tear in the space-time thingy.

I wanted to give it to Rohan Ricketts, again, but they wouldn't let me.
I just wanted to hear him rapping.

I really wish we'd picked Odejayi now.
Or Grant McCann.

I'm choosing again in a fortnight.
Get ready.

Do you reckon ladbrokes will take a bet on the MOTM

now there would be a nice money making oportunity. £100 on Paul Reid at 200-1 for MOTM

I think Odejayi is my long lost brother

We're both big. We're both called Jay. We're both lazy. And we're both ***** at football.

Yup.

It's all that quality coaching they're getting.
Odejayi wins flick on ... Mostto is 40 yards away kicking his heels because he's not scoring many open goals from 3 yards.
I honestly think that Paul Hayes is a better player than Miguel Mostto.

I think it may be the language barrier.
Odejayi is speaking in "football", but Mostto is listening in "croquet"?

Kay up front?

I honestly think Odejayi can be made into a decent Championship striker in a few years with the right coaching.
He should be playing 15 games this season at the most & then coming on from the bench.
The problem is - we've spent £700k on two other strikers who look pretty poor too.

They call him Kayo, by the way - not Jay.
And he's obviously not your brother - as he's got a proper job and that.

But he's an international & takes nice free kicks.

The fact that he's **** should be overlooked.

If he was my brother I'd claim I was adopted.

as his long lost brother can you tell us......

what psychological trauma he suffered when young which makes him physically unable to kick a football with his right foot-I'm right footed but can with 5 minutes practise pass a ball 5 yards left footed to within a foot of where I want it to go

Good thinking - but not very ambitious.

£500 on Floella Benjamin at 25,000,000-1.

I think we should run a poll on here prior to the Preston game & the winner gets MotM.

Well I was mental when I posted it

Excessive pre-match drink, topping up Friday night intake.

The turd analogy just about sums it up, it was an off day for everybody but Muller did nowt wrong.

By the way you all missed out Friday night was a free bar :D :D :D

Okay.

Our Uncle Bob used to fiddle with him.
He'd start by stroking his right leg - so Grant won't use it anymore.
He hates that right leg he does.

The same happened to Mostto - but his Uncle stroked both feet, his chest, his head & his arms too.

Anyway - I was adopted.

RE: Well I was mental when I posted it

Did you have a good evening on Friday then?

The free bar at the game on Saturday resulted in me being a bit ill yesterday.
I managed the 400 yard walk to the shop, but that was about it.

I just wanted to meet Heinz, but he never showed up for his Champers.
I'll give it Howard for the Preston game - he won't miss the chance of a drink.

Put it like this:

I've never seen him sit down.

This super strong squad we now have is interesting.
Is it me or did we have a centre half at right back, a right winger on the left, a completely pointless central midfielder, two lads up front whose scoring records are piss poor & a striker on the bench who looks just about good enough for the Darfield Longbow?

I think our team is a bit gay.
