Football is all about opinions but in mine you are wrong

Not a bad keeper, in fact a good one, but error prone so the idea that he is the saviour of all is rubbish.

There is a reason nobody else came in for him and it isn't we were offering so much cash or davey can find diamonds nobody else can see. He has a number of flaws that need ironing out if he is to be a great keeper. At his age they are unlikely to be

    Error prone ?????

If Muller's error prone, what the **** would that make any other Barnsley goalkeeper in the last forty years? If your personal analysis of his game is correct, then he'll be at Barnsley for a good number of years. You infer that he's at Barnsley simply because no other manager/coach rates him highly enough to want his signature. Also, you say that at his age the number of flaws you claim are in his game are highly unlikely to be ironed out. It is accepted in the footballing world that goalkeepers do not reach their peak until their mid thirties. Heinz Muller in not thirty until the end of May, which suggests he can become even better. It is my opinion that Heinz is the best goalkeeper I've seen in forty years of watching Barnsley. Yours is somewhat different, which is your perogative.
By the way, an opinion is a conclusion thought out yet open to dispute. Therefore, opinions can differ but cannot be right or wrong.

Strangely, I can prove that you are incorrect.
Hilario did exactly the same thing (if not a worse punch from an easier catch) for Chelsea v Blackburn.

    Beginning to agree with you......

and looking at the clubs thats supposed to be chasing him if you believe anything from Sunday papers l think those clubs currently have better goalkeepers than Muller, Kirkland, Niemi etc.... And yet again we concede from a set piece, I do like Muller but do you realise how many of these set pieces that we have conceded recently where the ball as been headed in from less than 10 yards out yet Muller is stuck on his line time and time again.

    does he punch everything? because...

... the one time I've seen him (Saints) he caught everything, with aplomb.
