Would a Supermarket charge you the same price for a fresh loaf of bread and a 10 year old loaf of bread. HMV do/did charge the same or often more for an old CD than they did for a chart CD. That's all well and good if you want to listen to the new guff that's being released at the minute.
Best 2 sites on the net are 2 bittorrent sites, what.cd and waffles.fm Though both are invite only. Both a massive sites with hundreds of thousands of tracks and albums, now bigger than the infamous oink ever was.
I'm with you on this. Why should an artist not be paid for what he / she is creating? Illegal downloading = theft. Plain and simple.
I tend to agree; I download all my music from iTunes where I can listen to a preview of the track before buying.
For all the moaners. The songs I am d/loading are ones I already have bought the album cd but my disk drive is buggered on my laptop so I cant rip them from cd to put on my phone. I am loathe to pay for them again. So there.
