RE: who's called it muslim? the question was about muslim culture and you said the muslim culture is good for the country because of the indian food. windy's (and my) point was that indian food is an indian thing, not a muslim thing.
again no the question was "muslim influence on this country - good or bad". "muslim influence" is the subject of the question. muslim influence on the country? exactly. my mum is in this country as am i. my mum now makes spicier and tastier curries since a muslim family moved next door. so....... next door neighbours are muslim, they taught my mum to make better ruby murrays, therefore good
my neighbours? stockton my mum's neighbours are from mirfield. their parents from islamabad, pakistan. sorry to be pedantic....
oops, yeah your mums it is the pakistani culture and influence that brought with them the curry, not the fact they are muslim. the only way i can think to compare it is if i went to live in india and taught somebody to cook yorkshire puddings, that would be my english/yorkshire culture that i was passing on, it wouldnt be a christian influence but a british influence.
true so should the question not have been "the ko'ran infuence on this country, good or bad" but what comprises muslim culture?
the koran is the book that the muslims live their life by so the koran and muslim is one and the same. muslim culture is the things that muslims do because of their religion. things that they will do different to other people from the same country etc. and with that im off to bed
Shurrup y'barmy bleeder. You'd have looked a lot less daft just admiting you'd made the mistake in the first place. Either that or you still don't realise you're talking ****. Muslim food. Ha ha ha ha ha! .
Can't agree with that at all. From what we watch on TV to what's taught at school and what we can and cannot say legally has all been subtley changed over time and Islam (or our pandering to Islam) is a factor in that. As for economically, we're constantly told that the influence is positive but I have yet to see any definite proof or statistics to back this up.
