My final blog post..

Nice one mate. Hopefully gonna be able to listen to it on Player, I'm working down at Chatsworth tomorrow & sunday. Got next weekend off though.

Video made me cry...

Watched it with my daughter and sobbed my heart out remembering last season and thinking it just couldn't happen again...could it?! Thinking we will probably lose at Ipswich so feeling nostalgic I think! Great blogs, great videos; thanks for the memories.

Thank you. Means a lot. As did last season. I'm not into this notion that it means nothing now, that it's gone. Nonsense. I never thought I'd see a season like that. Incredible. So why shouldn't we dream of further miracles? It's the whole damn point, isn't it?

As ever, a great, opinioned read. But why don't you just leave the blog open instead of insisting it's a goodbye. You always come back! And it's welcome, but, you know, spare the unnecessary drama! X

 

Bournemouth in our last Championship season. You went for a piss at 0-0, couple of minutes left saying you'd meet me outside. It was that bad. It got worse when Bournemouth scored in injury time. Found you walking the hill at full time...

"we're ****, properly ****, Roy"

"at least it's a point, pal"

I first created stuff like this for fun. I then felt I ought to do this sort of stuff for a living. And that's where I'm at. I'm attempting that step. And so that's the focus now. But I wanted to thank folk in essence for giving me the confidence to take that step.

Hope that makes sense.

If I fail, I might eventually go back to doing them for fun. But I doubt it.

I don't know you my man but i believe you can make a living from what you have offered up on here. . You are creative and you tap into human emotion thru your understanding of your audience. There is no better grounding than football for that. Especially supporting a club like ours. Pardon the cliche but keep on keeping on. You just need to find the right vehicle to accelerate what you're doing.
