i agree too - was just not on however not being a parent/child, i found it hilariously funny! best entertainment ever, i'm glad we pissed them off and ever happier they got arrested. i know its sad, but it made me feel better at the end of the game. slightly.
Believe it or not, at most football matches, someone gets arrested (home fans and away fans)... Individuals always get arrested at football matches. As a whole the Barnsley fans were well behaved. If you stand up and use the PA to direct abuse at a section of the public, you will get yourself arrested. It doesn't make it more excusable that other people were swearing - if you're on the PA system swearing and gesturing, you will get locked up. End of. You can't let that **** slide. The two idiot girls were just very very stupid - but they deserved to get locked up.
Can I just say that from where I was up near the back of Leppings Lane the crowd noise was so loud and the backing track waqs cranked up so high I couldn't actually hear what the brainless little ***ts were singing(?) but I could see enough to know they were going to be in truoble. Presumably that's why they didn't appear for the half-time draw. Oh, and is the video that was recorded going to appear on the web or will it be used as police evidence in any forthcoming procedings?
RE: Our Fans Were Not Well Behaved At Full Time Leaving The Ground From What I Heard. Nor were the 50 or so Washday fans who decided to taunt about 1,000 of us as we came out of the ground and the 20 brave 15 year olds who had a go at me as I was queuing to get out of the car park, bearing in mind I was travelling on my own.
Leppings Lane Tram stop Hundreds of Barnsley & Wednesday fans segregated on platform. Loads of Chavs but not a whiff of trouble.
YES - Our fans did boo them.. But they told us to "f*ck off" before the performance even began - of course they were going to get boo'ed after that.
You're an absolute pillock Dreamboy, your team drew 3-3 with Leyton Orient yesterday didn't they?

RE: "Family game" quite clearly - yet surely you can see that the language used by all of us in the stands hardly makes us advocates of a "family game"?
No Actually....... my team lost for the 10th time in a row to our local rivals who were bottom of the league.
Sad that you've resorted to playing up to your own image mate disagreeing with everything just to be 'controversial'. I thought you were better than that.
RE: aye but it would not have been as pronounced had we won...its mostly sour grapes at an easy targ I cant believe anyone is sticking up for these little tarts. All people in the public eye eg. football players, singers... are idols for many young people and if your idols come out with language like that then young people are going to think its alright to do so. Football fans arent idols and arent expected to be clean mouthed but you dont expect language like that from the half time 'entertainment.' RIDICULOUS!!!
