RE: did they...how bad of them.... I wonder what 6000 BFC fans were saying then hmmmmmmm So you think it is quite legitimate to tell someone to 'f' off over a microphone do you? Yes people did react with similar language, but what do you expect?
You just seem to want to take the contrary view about everything these days... Diminishes the strength of your real arguments, which I know to be heart-felt.
I have not said I am condoning their actions ..just saying that.... had we not lost that this topic would not be taking such a center stage as it is doing.
as I said further up, I am NOT condoning them ..but just saying this... I do not think that if we had not lost that this subject would have had such a center stage on here.
I will say to you too, Not condoning them just stating that... if we had not lost then this subject would not have had such an airing as it has done.
RE: It's a legitimate topic as I have said to some of the others, if we had not lost to the owls I believe that this topic would not have recieved the amount of discussion it has done.
Maybe not but I still think their would have been plenty of debate about it. It is a first in my time supporting Barnsley.
Rubbish Nothing to do with the result. I found it funny at the time after been genuingly shocked with their antics over the mic! They cant do that. The statement about the BFC fans been vulgar is rubbish. They had hardly even come onto the pitch when they did it. After that they continued to try and insight hate and stirr up the fans. Oncer again your trying to lay the blame back at the players. I know we need some players and wish AR would sort it out but for you to come out and say they have no passion is absolute ******!
RE: So Let Me Get This Right........ "Grown men, louts, pissheads etc in the away end were disrespectful to the girls FIRST by booing them when they were trying to sing" its called banter

Football fans, on occasion, knock seven-bells out of each other... Perform "monkey" chants, shout racist abuse. Would the likes of Dreamboy find it acceptable then if the stewards at a game started knocking lumps out of fans or racially abusing players simply because some fans do? Same difference... When I used to work for the council I got shouted and swore at every day but I would've very quickly got the sack had I swore back. When performing in your professional capacity you behave professionally - I feel a bit sorry for the lasses 'cos, quite obviously, they ain't very good at their job but it doesn't change the fact they were out of order. Criticism too to whichever moron, Wednesday events manager who thought it would be a good idea to book two, barely post-pubescent girls, to perform a trash cover version of a trash song as the half-time entertainment of a heated, local derby. Totally lacking in foresight, hence what happened...
I Take It..... then if you was trying to do your job and thousands of people were giving you abuse that you would see it as banter also ?
