oddies change wasnt a sitter and he knocked a few balls down for super jon and held the ball up ok. wasnt the worst ive ever seen disco didnt set the world alight but did knock a couple of ok crosses in. but lets face it they playing a team that will be top 4ish in prem so if they look abit poor look whos infront of them. if they all play like that from next sat we will be more than safe.
Odejayi, Macken and Boggy all played well. Adebayor and Robinho were rubbish today. Man City won't win anything!
Does that mean when he was faced with the best keeper in the Premiership narrowing his angle & stand Not sure Robinho would have netted that one. I did see Oddjob get pushed for a dead cert pen in the 2nd half tho.
RE: Does that mean when he was faced with the best keeper in the Premiership narrowing his angle & s Funny aint it that if Odejayi had missed the Adebayor or Bellamy chances the fans would have killed him. It goes to show that even the very best miss sitters. Haven't got a clue how Adebayor missed that open net.
RE: We've had a lot worse in recent times Assuming that these people watched us under Spackman / Parkin / Hart / Hodges then it is a pretty strange assessment.
He didnt mess the one on one up because the keeper did well it was his first touch that was awful, he ended up running towards the corner flag and left himself with no chance.
For me Steele 8 Hassell 8 Foster 7 Moore 7 Kozluk 6 JCR 7 Disco 6 Butterfield 9 Thompson 8 Odejayi 8 Macken 7 SUBS Boggy 7 Hume 6 Sodje and RNL din't really get chance to impact so i cant really rate em.
Think all fans n team should see yesterday's game as a big positive was a great performance & if you asked most fans before game if would be happy with a performance like that against man city (a team that have just spent going on £150 million) they would be happy. Thought goalkeeper was impressive, all defence was good, midfield very solid & creative without 2 players (anderson & colace) that most people would see as first choice & strikers looked good, all looked lively.
