    If Etuhu is fit

That in itself would be a big boost for everyone.

Even if he did play that I'd be there 'til the end.

I think that O'Brien played at right back for Motherwell before coming to us, but maybe more in a wing-back role.

Certainly the worst time in the season for this to happen to us.

Time for some players to step up to the plate big time.

Etuhu, McNulty, Edwards , golbourne, delap, RNL, Hassell , Wisemen and foster all injured so I'm led to believe.

    Dawson & Kennedy banned

I know very little about academy and development squad... Any young defenders ready to step up to the mark as young Stones did?

Quality. Well some of these young lads are about to find out what it's all about. A massive ask but they've nothing to lose personally and everything to gain. A great chance for them.

I suspect Patterson will be in line for a game, he made the bench the other week. Obvious choice for RB would be O'Brien if Flicker doesn't want to gamble with Jones, although he made the bench so he might slot in there. How about Rhys Oates - impressed Flitcroft earlier in the season and there was talk about pushing him into the 1st team. Is he a LB or RB?

    ------------------ Steele ------------------

    Jones ----- Patterson ----- Cranie ----- ????

    O'Brien ----- Perkins ----- Mellis ----- Cywka

    ------- Scotland -------- Harewood --------

    Steele

    Wiseman Hassell Cranie

    Obrien Perkins Mellis Etuhu RNL

    Dagnall Scotland

And that's assuming Wisman, Etuhu, Hassell and RNL are fit. Dawson if red card doesn't stick yet/appeal that would be a bonus to give Etuhu extra recovery time. Is Delap due back soon?
If we have only 3 fit defenders maybe that forces him to go back to the wingback system?

Surely not! You've got the likes of Matty Done running at you. He can rip anyone to shreds.

Sam Patterson is a winger. Even if he is involved I'm pretty sure he won't be playing centre half.

Looks like the club have totally overlooked the natural left back from the 21's Matty Steade
