Not sure effort is the problem but it's the glaringly obvious lack of quality throughout the squad. Defended well today but it just looks and feels as if the lads are always a step below the opposition in all areas...... Yeah but we won at QPR.

Totally agree. It isn't a question of effort at all, it's a question of quality. They ran their socks off today. We had little in the final third and defended for our lives. Anderson and Walton outstanding. Two clean sheets out of two very positive. Shame that the subs had very little impact, but again maybe it's the players they came up against? Millwall were very well set up and organised, and at least matched us I'm afraid to say. Big game Tuesday

 

I do agree with Supertyke about the lack of crowd noise. What happened?
Folk who bought the app must surely get their money back

 

Got to be said, ‘The Investment Room’ sponsor boards pitch side in front of the East Stand have all but faded/flaked away.

Looks shabby and I can’t seen the main sponsor being totally thrilled about that - especially since they are in prime view now for all on TV.

I know perhaps it’s not a major issue in the grand scheme of things, but conversely, you’ve got to keep the club’s main sponsor happy, surely?

 

Apparently the crowd noise audio was provided in advance by Supertyke.

But proved to lack sufficient inspiration for the team, and so wasn't broadcast.

Instead of "You're fu***ng sh*t" directed at (hopefully) Millwall, it started off with "Our grass is sh**" when the teams walked on, and got even less helpful to the Reds from that point on.
