Perhaps they're praising them because their experience was a good one? I was delighted with the process, from a personal point of view. And our view/seats were a lot better than I expected. Perfect really. Appreciate others will have had **** experiences, and they're free to create their own threads saying as much.
No problems whatsoever with us, tickets, trains or hotels. All our goals scored at our end, and we're on camera for them all.
Total farce for me...wanted tickets in the singing blocks...went online on first day for ST holders....ticket master seemed to think I'm not a ST holder and wouldn't let me order...box office helpline busy...after several tries all the blocks we wanted were apparently gone. Tried again when they went on general sale and only blocks in the gods near the halfway line at high prices were available, waited for nearly a fortnight for them to sell block by block till they worked their way round behind the goal , then out of the blue block 239 middle tier (previously unavailable ) opened at £42 which was more than we wanted to pay..but we paid it anyway , the following day the cheaper block immediately below opened , a block we would have been delighted with but had been u/a. A ludicrous way of organising it for me.
Have to say that I'd much rather order my tickets online than spend most of a day queuing around the club grounds in the cold. There were some issues, but nothing to get too flustered about. Have to say that Beth and her team are absolutely spot on when it comes to sorting out problems. When I broke my leg and needed help, Beth never let me down, disabled helper ticket and wheelchair access ticket arriving next day , every single time. I've had access issues with my account and once again, Beth to the rescue. It's always been my experience that if you ask for help, you will receive it. .
What a load of ********. How the hell can you say that after reading about all of the problems on here that very first day of sale. OK You were alright Jack but read Jay's story if you think that's a good template. As ST holders we went on first thing to try to get tickets for the middle behind the goal. According to Ticketmaster, those blocks were sold out so we picked the nearest block which was out near the corner flag. We also couldn't pick our seats so we were in the lap of the gods. A week later we could have picked our seats in the exact block we wanted, that's a fantastic template if you want to piss off your own fans.
I appreciate some people had problems. I myself had access problems, but these were cheerfully sorted. Hopefully, by the time we are there again in May, initial problems will be sorted and we will all be a great deal wiser !
Beth seems brilliant but the problem with the Wembley tickets was that Beth (and everyone else it seems) didn't have a clue what was going on so the advice and information they were giving out was completely wrong
My experience was one of absolute simplicity and efficiency. Tickets bought without any glitches, turned up with plenty of time to spare. No problems, no worries, no stress.
