Selling out a week ahead makes no difference at all to those that couldnt get a ticket. Season ticket holders having a long time to buy tickets was a good thing, getting a raffle ticket was a decent idea that could definetly be improved but it is a good starting point. However the major thing is that supporters of other teams who just happen to be friends of season ticket holders were again given priority over barnsley fans who have attended regularly. That is a fact that cannot be ignored and for that reason it has been a PR disaster. If you don't believe me then ask radio sheffield how many calls they had about it, ask the chronical if they had any letters, ask the club how many complaints they have had (from different people), ask those who have missed out whether they consider it to be bad PR.
I know they've been sold but who to? 23,000 - 6,000 chelsea tickets = 17,000 tickets left for home fans. only 1,400 went on general sale didnt they?
