I don't give Dickie any stick. I've seen him at most games at Oakwell I've been to over the years, 'specially since he retired.
But Parky .............. he deserves all he gets IMHO. Fair enough, in his book he reminisces about all things BFC, but he seems to have renounced all "Yorkshireness" and I hate it when he pops out of the woodwork now.

At least thirty years. I used to stand with Martyn and sundry members of the Heseltines (big tarn cricketing dynasty - ayup Pete!) on the Ponty back in the late 70's
Mick Mc Carthy hasn't lived around here for sometime... ... but nobody questions his credentials... nor should/dare they !!!
eh what eh... no ... well I assume not... ... the point I was trying to make is that living away from town does not necessarily diminish your affinity to Barnsley...
I wish i hadn't bothered as I've had one of those days and my brain is starting to hurt(casualty)

RE: eh what eh... no ... well I assume not... not saying he hasn't got an affinity to Barnsley. He would like to be 'Mr Barnsley'. Just saying he is not really a supporter because he claims to be a Tottenham supporter...and also my hometown club Barnsley. Part time supporter then ok.
