I've always subscribed to some are much much worse than others.
I think it's impossible to find a political party you will agree with everything on short of forming one yourself.
I could write a reasonable list of things I dislike about Labour. It would pale into insignificance against the same list for the Tories.

We’ve currently got to most corrupt government in my living memory - no other party (perhaps excluding the racist reform party) are anywhere near the same! In my humble opinion

"They're all the same" is what people who voted for the Tories/Brexit now say as it helps them avoid coming to terms with just how monumentally bad their decision making was.

No it's used mostly by those who don't wear blinkers towards one particular party and can see no bad.

I'm voting Labour simply because they are slightly the better I hope of the two contenders. I hold no hope that they will be much different. Once they get their noses in the gravy train of power they'll be lapping it up faster than a seagull could devour a Whitby chip.

I'd support something like a reduction in income tax but offset by an increase in council tax just to get that money more localised.

I'd also support through that paying a little more and being a bit worse off overall if it did mean better local services.

Boris would be a better liar than Sunak. But there is Farage now to take on that mantle. At least Sunak can afford a Sky subscription & live off his wife's wealth, when he's out of a job. Not goona be sofa surfing, like many folks I know, **** the Tories.

Public services or lower taxes, you can't have both; though most voters think you can.

Wouldn't that be massively regressive as council tax is not related to income?

You're right, it is basically a regressive tax with the wealth related aspect of being based on property value, the new Government should scrap it and replace it with a local income tax. Should have been done decades ago.

I'd happily suffer 3rd degrees burns from digging up her still burning corpse if they made it leader. It could not do a worse job than any of the last 5 - and I hate Thatcher.

We certainly have' they don't even try to hide it' Boris johnson has normalized sleaze and corruption and they carry it out with complete impunity and if they do get caught out it seems an apology will always suffice..
