RE: Shuker next ?

I think Shuker is out the rest of the season, with ligament damage.

Not sure then, the FA cup official rules state that the player has to be signed by mid-day on the friday before the day of the match. If we were playing on saturday then it would be this friday but we're playing friday so the friday before that has gone in my eyes.

We must have missed out on someone

There's no way that he would have been our first choice, no way.

    It's a panic buy imo

I wouldn't say I'm not happy about it, as we all know that he's a goalscorer and that's what we've been missing. BUT, I think we must have taken a few knockbacks for the club to go running back to him.

me neither to be honest, I just seem to recall (though I am probably wrong as always) that stories of pretty much the rest of the squad being offered contracts were made long before one about nardiello.

I imagine if that was the case then he will have been left feeling very unwanted and surplus to requirements (considering mostto had signed) and felt he had to leave. It must be a tricky time trying to handle contract renewals, especially if you are hoping to sign a better player.

    Jesus, I can't believe that!

Resigning the back stabbing pilllock is not what I wouid have expected from Davey.

I thought Nads was an exceptional player but he let us down badly with the QPR move .

He will probably end up leading scorer now if he can keep fit.

Davey certainly seems to be able to get the best out of him. Nads and Stan could be a potent strike force.

I think Nads will, given a few games, start doing the business. I think he knows he owes us big time and will have to do well to win over the fans.

Not really happy about it, but what the hell, if he does the business for us who will give a flying ****?

    Hello, Hello, Nardiello, Nardiello.

tend to agree on the knockbacks

If Macken aint coming back and if we are putting all of our remaining eggs in the Nardiello basket we had all better get our fingers crossed and use plenty of straw packing.

Mindsthi, he'll be playing for a contract so as long as he does not break we might get some benefit though I am not holding my breath.

RE: Possibly, mixed feelings about it ............

Agree with that, but as Harrow says it is a loan deal. Maybe Davey has signed hin as insurance in case the Macken deal doesn't come off. But it is strange, Kim has pissed him off and cannot get a game, but it appears we have forgiven Nads and possibly Werling. Let's hope Davey can get the best out of them.

It's pretty clear the Macken deal has been on hold while Derby got international clearance for Sterjovski, which has come through today. Expect Macken to be back at Oakwell soon.

Very Very Clever by Davey..the Hero who made himself an outcast. He has twice as much to prove and win over than any other player at the club.

I agree about the injury element..

...I'm just hoping that the striker rabbit out of the hat is Macken to play alongside Nads
