Burns is definetly not a given Since the birth of his child recently he has had nothing but bad game after bad game.
If I were to rotate the midfield then my rotation would have to involve kell for burns as well.
I wouldnt mind seeing us line up like this once in a while
colgan
defence (whoever is fit, i've lost track)
devaney - kell - howard - hayes
nardiello - wright

I think you're right for the first couple of games, but If he hadn't been playing against huddersfield we'd have been stuffed and since then he's been back on form.
Burns is our most, probably only, consistent outfield player breaks up attacks, protects the defence, gets forward where poss, delivers a decent free kick, just generally holds the shape of the team together. he's had the odd bad game, but I cant remember him having a bad spell, and recently he's been the first name on the team sheet for most. think Hayes did ok on the left, but he's our best striker, and would be wasted on the wing. I'm baffled by anyone who's seen enough from Kell to make him first choice, cos he's hardly seen the ball and looks a more than a bit lightweight to me.
RE: q crap performance Thaz talking twaddle. Nads is quite easily the best finisher at the club.... Feed the Nads and he will shoot......
