I'm in a tiny minority, I know that, but I love Jim O'Brien. Both he and Paddy would have started today for me. I said as much earlier on twitter, got laughed at. I'm looking forward to a few summaries of the game on here later from those who attended. Already had a few texts from lads who went. I listened to Matt, Adam and Jim on Player. Point's a point I suppose. But I can't help thinking we'd have beaten them had Paddy started. Ah well. Wigan next. Just heard Danny's interview, seems like the plan away is to defend and try and pick up a point. I disagree with that plan. We need victories. Lots of them.
We are not winning enough home games to be able to go away just looking for a point. That's very worrying.
I would think that this plan this away plan is very dependant on having a very good home record which needs to kick in very soon.imo
Jim had a good game today and has been one of better performers under Wilson. Some of flack he gets seems very harsh to me. Not a bad performance at all today. Hit bar, goal disallowed. Just wish we could deal with the way teams press us in second half better. every team does it now...template for that was set at start of season when we went 13 games without keeping a second half clean sheet.
Changed the game did Jim with his energy. We were under the cosh before he came on, it was just about all us after he got on the pitch.
Obrien played well when he came on , mc court got to be worth a start on Tuesday . We need to cause teams problems rather than worrying about keeping a shape in midfield
