Its bright, its modern and its funky.

I actually like the design and the colours- compare it with the bad 70's concrete slabs we have around town, such as Nacods, County Way and The Metropolitan Centre. I know which I prefer.

I haven't had a look in it yet, but it looks like Teletubby Land from the outside!! If they'd just stuck to green/blue it wouldn't be so bad, but what the hell is all that minging orange all about??

What we need now is some buses to go in it. I never see any around my end any more, they've all been cancelled!! *rolls eyes*

Yeah, they seem to be stopping more buses lately. I'll save my comment till Ive seen inside but it's a 'little' colourful at the minute.

I went past and it looked ok. Certantly no reason for people to jump on the Tellytubby bandwagon.

When it fully complete it better that what we had before. Does stick out a bit but isn’t the surrounding area going to be transformed over the next few years?

If it’s not the Bus station it’s the new shirt, if it’s not the new shirt it’s the new signings, if it’s not the new signings it’s the new sponsor. Come on what is all the moaning about?

With the number of ceased services, it will be far too large for what punlic transport is left.

Best thing to happen to the town centre in ages

Went for a walk around it today and it looks great inside, finally Barnsley is getting out of the stone age. The station would not look out of place if it was built somewhere like London, the reason it looks odd is because the rest of Barnsley is still in the 1950s. I can’t wait for the rest of the pebble dashed concrete to go that’s all around the town. If you look around Leeds or Sheffield you will notice lots of weird and strange modern looking buildings that look pretty good in there surrounding and in my opinion I like both Cities. When you take a look at Barnsley it is disappointing that we haven’t done this sooner. What’s happing now is something other cities have been doing for a long time and I am really proud that Barnsley is taking this step, the future town centre will be one to be proud off.
