Heads! oh ****** am crap at being captain. Is there a need for one narr days what with quarter and haif time for a manager to advise his players.

On Mowatt, he leads by example, getting stuck in and keeps on going to the end , however , he aint a shouter.

On Solbauer he did a lot of finger pointing and arranging when he first came which was okay but at the moment he is playing second fiddle to Anderson, a lad who should be next in line for the armband.

I would leave it as it is at the moment missen.

I think the way we set up last year, often operating with two at the back (when using the press) Davies' contribution cant be underestimated. I think it worked to have a captain that could see everything in front of him, to marshall and instruct Lindsey and Pinnock, and free up players like Mowatt and McGeehan. I think Davies' calm head helped when the opposition broke up our press and came all guns blazing at our goal. I realise Pinnock was hugely important in this too, and would have been my second choice.
