spot on mate, if some of the crap spouted on this site was to be found on the blunts or fowls board people would be falling over themselves to abuse the "massives", but yet a lot seem to have developed the same no ones good enough for us attitude

    Re: No, but

exactly right..... we need a mix of proven championship players, good enough to hold there own and then mix in our own youngsters and untried lower league players....

field a team of 11 league 2 players and guess what.... they will end up playing in league 2

Re: Can anyone remember us taking in someone on loan from 2 divisions below before?

I don't think so, I seem to remember him being brought in by Parkin towards the end of the relegation season. Could be wrong though

No can't remember any, I can't remember a team buying a player then the transfer window was closed either so that even it up.

In recent years, the championship has seen players come from Stevenage, Grays athletic, Grimsby Have all made the grade..

    Re: No, but

So should we fill the team with players we can't afford and go to the wall then? In the next couple of seasons we'll see a lot more clubs going into admin, hopefully we won't be one of them. If we hang on to Championship status for this season and next I think we'll be in a much better position than most.

    Re: No, but

I've never asked us to spend money. I'm not calling for us to make big money signings.

I'm simply stating that the quality of the squad we have now is barely good enough for this division. You can shout at me all you want, but it doesn't change that fact.
