    He was at Gateshead before MK Dons, so his wage will be next to nothing. That's what the board looks at. If Duff had been at the club last week, the stumbling block had to be the money. He'll have wanted similar to what he got at Swansea, we said no, but we can offer you a free luncheon ticket and a voucher for a meat and tatie pie, he said swivel.

    Another factor was him having previous experience with this board and the way they operate, he'll have asked for certain conditions. Be that money to spend and/or guaranteeing that he wouldn't have his squad dismantled from under him as soon as another club offered to pay in £20 installments.
