    This!

Although it baffles me why some don't want Michael Duff. He's exactly the sort of coach we should be going for. Especially in this division.

Some will want a young, upcoming coach from a Premier League Academy. Some will want a bloke with First Division experience. Others will insist on an English coach no matter what.
Personally, I'm not clever enough to believe I know exactly what's required with regards to the next appointment. I have no issues with any of the three names currently doing the rounds. I'm so grateful I know nothing about football!

you have to remember Archey that EVERY single fan will have that name in the head. Unless you are told that Coach doesn't want to come you will always have that name in your head.

I see Carrick been linked to teams ad Beale at Aston Villa and think we could get him. Likely I'm wrong but you never know that unless you are told.

The BBS perfect manager hasn't been born yet.

Thank you for those kind words, my old friend. If you were talking about archaeology, then I'd possibly agree with you. :D
However, when it comes to football, I'm quite relaxed about my lack of footballing knowledge. The ones who make me laugh are those who honestly believe they're knowledgeable and can't understand why the rest of us mere mortals don't realise & appreciate it! :D

Yep, we're all a good 50% ignorant on footy. Even those in the game are working partially in the dark. They have to be or every manager at every club would be a raging success and every player signed will be a world beater.
We're all locked in a cellar scrambling around for a box of matches. :)
