RE: what about all those that bought this seasons kit I bet you'd be moaning if the club hadn't thought of having a kit for the day. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
RE: what about all those that bought this seasons kit anyone who feels under pressure to buy the latest kit when they shouldnt is a little bit sad, dont you think?
Special kit for the final, yes. special kit for a semi final just because the FA decided to move it to wembley, no. If the semi had been at villa park would it deserve its own kit? or to put it another way if they had moved all 3rd round ties to wembley as well would that make the game an historic and special one that deserves its own kit?
well yes and no. a lot of people would like to be seen to be wearing the kit that the players are, that is why they bought this seasons kit.
Thats a bit of an exaguration in this case I doubt there would have been any criticism for turning out in this seasons kit. Whats wrong with a high quality tee shirt?...I'll tell thi..tha cant make as much profit as tha can on a bit of embroidery on a probably what will be a bog standard shirt. Nevertheless if anyone is daft enough to buy such an item then its their own lookout.
IF ANYONE DOESN'T LIKE/ CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER SHIRT... ... DON'T feckING BUY IT...
look I don't buy the team shirt, I don't criticise those who do it's up to them, but there has to be an 'off switch' when it comes to merchandise. You don't have to buy it !!!

RE: EI I got told it were other way round, and tend to believe it!! dragon lost because it was him what (get this).... (babyhaha) ....had to fetch his buddies into it! pmsl, ffs. Gonna beat him up they are, they know where he sits, maybe even when he goes for a piss perhaps? you know?. No he lost cause he disgraced himself....
Thank you for your private message that said: "go on post it , if you know it post it go on" Do you really suppose that I know, or even remotely want to know your f*ckin telephone number you egotistical moron. Do not pm me again. Sad man. Shuffle off somewhere else and try your paranoid psyco-bable there. You're getting to be like Blades poor relation.
I think it's called 'cashing in'. Thousands of fans wanting to commemorate a historic feat, lots of new fans at Wembley, all of who will want to show they've been there. From a fiscal point of view, it makes sense. From a moral point of view, it f**king stinks. It's a semi-final! Great and all that, but it's not the main event. Obviously the average football fan is Bill Gates or JK Rowling. I think we ought to have a different kit for every team we play, both home and away. In fact, one for each half for every game. If the club's going to fleece us, they might as well do it properly.
THAT'S NOT THE POINT! Why don't we bring out a new shirt to mark this weekend's game against Sheffield United.
RE: EI Dragon's no angel for sure. They're both as bad as each other. But mrx - the self-appointed protector of the BBS morals - now that is really funny.
RE: I think it's called 'cashing in'. I agree that from a merchandising/ money making view point for the club, it makes sense. Don't see how its fleecing anyone, as its your choice to buy it or not, whats the problem? If you agree with it buy it, if you don't don't buy it. Or am I missing summat? I'll buy it if its next years kit and it isnt sponsored by a Sheffield solicitor, which it doesn't appear to be, so I wont.
they could bring a new shirt out for every game as far as I care ...but as this is the first time for 96 years we've played in a major cup semi final and it is at Wembley (although it took us 113 years to get to the old one I still don't agree withthe venue)maybe the club would like to mark the occasion and just maybe make a bit of money for the club.
We have played the Blades many times and they're not worth marking the occasion.

My issue with this is the club are treating this as the final, as though the achievement is getting there in itself. The cup is there for the taking but the club seem content to treat it as a celebration already,
Yet another pm from mrx, this one said.... "thanks steve stop threatening me , you are weak if you do so (again)" Just so that we document this properly.
Fair comment.. ... I can appreciate what you are saying in that if we get wrapped up in the eupohria of Wembley we make take our eye off the ultimate prize of the FA cup itself.
I also think that the FA cup may take our attention from the real importance of Chamionship survival.
(if Palarce is the level of performance then we're fecked)
