I like Netgear for ease of setup and reliability.
I wouldn't spend the earth. Any of them will connect wirelessly to your laptop at 54Mbps. As this is already much faster than your broadband connection, it's fine for web surfing.
By the time any of the faster technologies become useful the price will have dropped anyway.
