Speak for yourself mate. With the size of my nose the Nazis would have jumped to the wrong conclusion and sent me off to the camp.
What about "professional yorkshiremen" who believe they are all superior to everyone else in the world? What are they classed as?
I wouldn't be unhappy with Hignett and/or Eaden. However, I'd go for Adkins. Proven record and gets the best out of average players, he should storm this league with our squad.
Sadly if you want shut of a manager then you have to accept you might not like or agree with the replacement. "Be careful what you wish for" springs to mind. That said I'd be surprised at Hignett. Not because he might not be any good (I've realised with a few exceptions it's a lottery) but he would seem not to be what we logically need right now. But he does have 6 toes.
Off the top of my head I can think of 4 ex reds who I feel have a good enough track record or enough experience for the job. None of them would take the job (Mick McCarthy, Alex Neil, Gary Monk and Neil Warnock). I wouldn't want someone like Neil Redfearn to get the job as I feel his reputation would be damaged in the same way Danny Wilson seems to have lost a bit of credibility. I don't feel Nicky Eaden or Craig Hignett are experienced enough at present, but I suppose they've to start somewhere. Given the choice, I'd go for Nicky Eaden. Quick edit, I think Steve Davis would be a fair appointment either. Would prefer Rosler or Adkins though personally.
